Jane McIntosh

Jane McIntosh works from her studio at ‘The Top Cottage’ Culverden. The stunning, expansive North Canterbury landscape with its diverse seasonal changes combined with the animals that surround her are the source of inspiration for Jane’s artwork.

Jane exhibits in Queenstown Gallery of Fine Art, Queenstown ; The Art Box, Christchurch; Tait Gallery, Hanmer Springs; Millwood Gallery, Wellington.

Portraits & commissioned works are undertaken.

Jane is always experimenting much to her husband’s Tom, frustration. This included creating a nearly life size bronze statue of the beloved family horse/pet “Jamie”. You cannot develop if you do not try!

My home and rural environment play an important part in my creative expression. Painting allows me to interact with different people and to travel. I enjoy creating artwork for people to enjoy.
